"A trendwatcher who is not afraid of provocation, a cosmopolitan with an infectious enthusiasm and a visionary with an unmistakable sense of humour ."
Het Financieele Dagblad, The Netherlands
What sort of clothing will we be wearing in twenty years time in Europe? Skimpy bellybutton-revealing tops or burkas? Will we all live together or will we shut ourselves away in our own ethnic ghettos? Why will Western Europe, in not too long a time, be known as Eurabia? What on earth is an RFID chip and who is really interested in domotica? Who are our future political leaders and why must we all learn Mandarin Chinese?
In Megetrends Europe, Adjiedj Bakas focuses on the future of Europe and the European position in the world. A world that has drastically changed with new superpowers and an ongoing struggle between the west and Muslim fundamentalists. In this context, Europe undergoes a number of far-reaching changes. Nothing to worry about, as long as you accept it in the appropriate manner. Visionary, future-orientated, lively, powerful, and full of humour, this book offers insights, ideas and inspiration for everybody so that they can adapt their lives, work and lifestyle to these new times.
