I've just received the rather glorious cover artwork for the UK edition of Dead Lovely from Helen's editor at Faber ...




It's very interesting to see the chain reaction of cover design evolution from the original Dutch Ambo|Anthos design via the Allen & Unwin cover to this - each developing from the other. I think all three covers are great and it is really nice that there is a shared feel across them all. It will be interesting to see what the Italians and French do.



and also very exciting news about the sales performance of Wendy Salisbury's The Toyboy Diaries which is selling-through very strongly at present off the back of massive press coverage including slots on ITV's This Morning, a huge Daily Mail spread and a nice barrage of other broadcast/radio slots. Which is very nice for our first agented project's first appearance...


Also too early to call (or announce) - but very very positive response on Jon Fink's novel A Storm in the Blood from an innovative UK publisher ...
