Jon Fink: If He Lived

Jon Fink's wonderful novel IF HE LIVED which tells the chilling story of a woman's conviction that her home is haunted by the unquiet ghost of a little boy has been bought by Alexander Schwarz for the Querido list in the Netherlands.

The novel was originally published in the UK by Jonathan Cape and is a completely timeless book which works both on the level of a scary, late night read and a compelling analysis of a relationship under strain as it looks at the tensions between Lillian and her husband who does not believe that tbe ghost exists. It is beautifully written and perfectly paced.

World rights are available in all languages apart from Dutch.

We are also getting an upsurge in interest in film & TV rights for the book.

Jon has also delivered the manuscript for his extraordinary new novel A STORM IN THE BLOOD which is currently out on submission.
